🌸 Saint Thérèse of Lisieux: the innocence that led me to repentance
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux holds a very special place in my heart. When I read her book, *The Story of a Soul *, something profound awakened within me. It was as if her purity held up a mirror to me: through her innocence I understood the gravity of sin and the pain of offending God.
I wept for my sins sincerely. Not out of guilt, but out of love—that love I discovered in the pages of his story, so tender and so faithful, that made me understand how much it hurts to distance oneself from someone who loves us infinitely.
With Saint Thérèse I learned that true holiness is not in doing great works, but in doing everything with love. That even the smallest gestures, offered with a pure heart, can have eternal value. She taught me that the important thing is not to be perfect, but to trust like a child in the arms of her Father.
Since then, when I pick up my rosary, I think of her. In her simple way of loving, in her smile full of faith, in that "little way" that leads us directly to the heart of God. Praying with Saint Thérèse is remembering that heaven is not far away: it begins in the soul that abandons itself to love.
💮 That's why I created the Alegría Teresita Rosary , inspired by her own tenderness. She considered herself "God's smallest little flower," and in that humility I found an immense light. This piece is inspired by her simplicity and joy: a reminder that every prayer, however small it may seem, can blossom in the garden of God's love. 🌷
