1. The Salve
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
Life, sweetness, and hope of ours; God save you.
To you we cry out, the exiled children of Eve;
To you we sigh, groaning and weeping.
in this vale of tears.
Come then, Madam, our advocate,
turn your merciful eyes back to us,
and after this exile, show us Jesus,
blessed fruit of your womb,
Oh merciful, oh pious,
Oh sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, Holy Mother of God,
so that we may be worthy of achieving
the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
2. Consecration to the Virgin Mary (Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort)
Oh my Lady, oh my Mother,
I offer myself entirely to you,
and as a token of my filial affection
I consecrate to you this day my eyes, my ears,
my tongue, my heart, in a word, my whole being.
Since I am all yours, O Mother of goodness,
guard and defend me as your own thing and possession.
Amen.
3. Remember (Memorare)
Remember, O most merciful Virgin Mary,
that has never been heard of
that none of those who have sought your protection,
implored your help, or asked for your intercession,
has been abandoned by you.
Encouraged by this confidence,
To you also I turn, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother,
and groaning under the weight of my sins
I dare to appear before you.
Mother of God, do not reject my pleas,
Rather, listen to them and welcome them kindly.
Amen.
